Skjold Rambow is an artist and performer with a background as an elite gymnast, breakdancer and a singer in the Copenhagen Boys Choir. He works within the intersection of performance and sculpture in the pursuit of reexamining the tradition of theater. Rambow’s creations often revolve around the intricate relation of dilemmas, entertainment, and the weight of expectations that accompany both performers and their audiences, both onstage and behind the scenes.
At the heart of his practice lies a fascination with the seamless transitions between fact and fiction. This focal point serves as a thread that connects him to the realm of physical theater, allowing him to express his artistic vision through various mediums.
