BOOK

Kristian Byskov’s practice spans across various mediums including text, installation, sculpture, and film. He has written three novels and participated in numerous exhibitions and performing arts projects both domestically and internationally.

Landscapes meet words in Kristian’s works, touching us in often unexpected ways, opening up new understandings and possibilities. We are becoming increasingly connected to our surrounding ecosystems. This evolution occurs in our daily lives and extends into our future world, shaped by disasters and new formations.

With research and dialogue as a starting point, Kristian works with storytelling as a tool, merging reality and science fiction. He engages with philosophical and political questions concerning land and the body. Through this, he invites an exploration of how we can reclaim and renew our ideas about nature, as well as how we can live and shape communities.
