FRIDAY and SATURDAY 11.-12.09.2026 – 11.30

ALF Artist Meetup is a monthly pop-up event where Aarhus Lydforening invites artists and partners working with music and sound to come together.
The purpose of this cosy social gathering is to create a space where people working with sound can connect, exchange ideas, inspire one another, and build meaningful relationships. It also provides a relaxed hangout spot where artists, professionals, and audiences can meet informally, spend time together, and become part of the community.

As part of ALTER, ALF Artist Meetup will expand into a daytime programme where ALF and ALTER create a space for exchanging ideas, experiences, and perspectives across countries, practices, and genres
The event brings audiences, local artists, and music professionals together with international artists from ALTER’s festival programme, creating opportunities to meet, connect, listen, and learn from one another.
Through shared lunches, talks, film screenings, informal hangouts, and open social time, ALF Artist Meetup @ALTER serves as a daily starting point and hangout spot for the festival. It extends the festival experience beyond the concerts and creates a welcoming space for conversation, inspiration, new connections, and simply spending time together
