Alba Akvama is a musician and songwriter from Copenhagen. In her music, she combines open-tuned guitars, intimate vocals and open fifths on the piano with orchestral sounds in repetitive patterns. The songs move through themes of nostalgia, love and time slipping.

As a live performer, Alba Akvama plays with subtle drama through gloomy, orchestral interludes,lovesongs and ballads, often accompanied by acoustics such as guitars, piano, bass and saxophone.  Alba Akvama debuted with her very first single ‘Drifting’ at the end of last year, receiving critical acclaim from Politiken who said: “she shows great promise to be the next international darling from Denmark.”
